What inspired you to make ‘Moonshine’ & how did it come about?

Born and raised down the back streets of Cornwall, Cornish moonshine is the rebellious love child of three mates who share the same passion for life and love for Whisky. Their mission is to create a range of distinctively smooth unaged white whiskies to give their drinkers as many reasons as possible to have a laugh.

What makes Cornish Moonshine so unique?

We like to push the boundaries and love to do things differently, We feel our Cornish moonshine brand stands alone as a rebellious and devilish Cornish tipple.

Moonshine is a ‘serious’ spirit but you’ve incorporated some sweet flavours.

Who is your key target audience?

Any outlaw that is looking to break the rules.

How do you recommend serving each flavour?

With one of our whiskey tumblers on ice. PERFECT.

If you knew then what you know now what would you do differently?

People love to drink moonshine. Make more!

Covid 19 specific question – what’s the most positive thing you will take away from this time?

The most positive thing from this year would be we have opened up two new Cornish moonshine hideouts based in the smugglers villages of Charlestown and Mevagissey, both have been a great successes.

What’s next for Cornish Moonshine

Venturing into different avenues we have now launched a new preserves range, working closely with Jake from the Cornish larder we developed products such as our bad*ss bbq sauce to our jail house chilli jam.
